ORIGIN
Belasprii’s story begins with Bela—a small, curious caterpillar navigating a world that often felt too rigid, too confining. Bela represents the parts of ourselves that feel fragmented, restless, and unseen. She carries the weight of stories unheard, wisdom dismissed, and intuition ignored.
I created Belasprii (originally bel-espirit French for “beautiful spirit”) because I was tired of the gatekeeping in academia—the way knowledge was guarded behind walls of jargon, leaving out the truth carried in lived experience, ancestral memory, and quiet intuitive knowing. I knew I had to create a space to honor the stories people carry inside—especially those stories that don’t fit neatly into textbooks or research papers.
Bela’s journey is one of transformation.
In the quiet and stillness, Bela begins to change. She turns to goo, gathers scattered fragments of self, and embraces the unknown. When the time comes, Bela emerges from her chrysalis, transforming into Belasprii—a radiant blue butterfly. This butterfly symbolizes rebirth, beauty, and light breaking through the darkness.
Belasprii Productions is a sanctuary for those who are becoming—those who carry pieces of themselves in fragments, who honor intuition as deeply as intellect, who find wisdom in story, silence, and spirit.
Belasprii reminds us that transformation is possible. That light can emerge from darkness. That the journey, with all its shifts and changes, is sacred.
